“After graduating from the Marquette University School of Dentistry in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, I moved to Atlanta and have practiced dentistry locally since 1977. One of the best parts of my practice is the opportunity to be a true neighborhood dentist for the people of Brookhaven. My wife JoAnne and I have lived in Brookhaven for over 30 years. We’ve watched our two sons grow up here and graduate from Marist. We are members of Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church, as well as, The Brittany Swim and Tennis Club where you can catch Tom and I playing tennis on the weekends. I also enjoy being active, playing tennis, scuba diving, and skiing. I'm an avid sports fan and have worked for many years as a radio and TV statistician for many local sporting events, including the Atlanta Hawks, Braves, Falcons, and the 1996 Summer Olympics. Professionally, I am a member of the American Dental Association, the Georgia Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, and I also volunteer at the Ben Massell Dental Clinic. Working with Tom, his dad and the family of talented and caring professionals here is truly a pleasure.”

Alan B Weinstein DDS is a native of Savannah, Ga. After high school he attended The University of Georgia as an undergraduate student. From UGA he attended Emory University School of Dentistry where he graduated with a degree as a Doctor of Dental Surgery. Dr. Weinstein maintains memberships in state, local and national dental societies. His practice is limited to General and Prosthodontic Dentistry. He is honored to practice with excellent associates. Dr. Weinstein and his wife Renie have two children both of whom are in the medical field in Atlanta and four grandchildren.

“Before I joined Jagor & Jagor I was a patient. In fact, our whole family, my husband and his mother have been patients now for over 50 years! With that kind of history it felt right to become part of Dr. Bruce’s and Dr. Tom’s family dentistry team. Although I’m originally from Rochester, New Hampshire, I am proud to say I’ve been a Georgian since 1975, leaving only briefly to live in Pennsylvania with my parents and sister. Although Pennsylvania was beautiful, I still couldn’t stay away from Georgia, and relocated back here in 1996. My husband, Chip is an astronomer at Emory University and an Atlanta native. He has been a patient of the practice since childhood. Besides dentistry, I enjoy gardening, walks in my local park, and especially cooking. All of this only when my two young children Joey and Emma allow the time.”

Renee is the newest addition to our practice. We welcomed this energetic Hygienist in 2017. She is an Atlanta native and comes to us top of her class, graduating from Central Georgia Technical College where she was awarded the Sigma Phi Alpha Honor Society award. Renee is very passionate about oral hygiene and the dentistry profession. She has been in the dental field for over ten years. Her enthusiasm and desire to treat patients is something you will feel right away when meeting her. In her spare time she enjoys cooking and traveling with her family to the beach, weekends at the lake and an occasional snowboarding trip to the mountains.

“I am very pleased to have joined the practice of Drs. Jagor and Jagor alongside Dr. Alan Weinstein with whom I have spent a rewarding career in the field of dentistry that spans nearly 32 years.

“I joined Dr. Bruce and Dr. Tom April 18th, 1988 as a dental assistant and assumed my current position at the front desk in 1998. I love my co-workers, more importantly I truly enjoy supporting and encouraging our patients. As a native Atlantan (I’m a Grady baby!) I like knowing that I’m helping my community; and that’s really a big part of what we do here at Jagor & Jagor. They care about each and every patient. They give you all the options and let you decide. Our patients really are partners in their own care. I think that says a lot about who Dr. Bruce and Dr. Tom are as people. As for me, I love to bake, sew, travel and sing. Currently I am studying Portuguese and Spanish in my pursuit to become a polyglot”

“I help run the front office; scheduling and confirming appointments, checking patients in and out, following up with insurance companies. I joined the Jagor & Jagor practice on August 15, 2022. I am an Atlanta native and my family and I have been patients of the Jagor’s for many years. Dr. Bruce was my first dentist. I am a nurse practitioner but am so happy to spend the remainder of my career with these fine dentists and co-workers. I enjoy my 4 beautiful children, running, hiking, cooking, travel, photography, home improvement projects, and spending time with family and friends."
